evaluation pt7

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Below is a rough cut of my preliminary task, you can see that I have come further in my skills of edit from prelimary to full product

As you can see I my alot more capable of creating effects, transitions, and filming on a whole now I've done the preliminary

The camera we used for the prelimanry task was a big sony hdi camera this itself was new to me as we had never had any experience with this level of filming, With the use of a Sony video camera we were able to learn about correct framing of the shots and the importance of it.

The use of the standby button was that we was able to pause inbetween two shot in one continuous part of filming which saved time and help us improve the quality of the film.

The 180 degree rule is apart of media and film and a key term it means that a camera should be placed inside 180 degrees on a particular side of the invisible line of a shot.

if not done/thought about properly it may cause confusion not only for the audience but in the narrative aswell; it makes it look like the people are changing places as they watch the film, For example, once a shot has been established, the camera must stay within a 180 degree position, this is best observed by the diagram below. It allows the audience to have a greater sense of location in the film. however in my film I only ever had one character in the scene and they also wasn't participating in any sort of conversation with one another I wasalways aware of the rule.

Shot reverse shot is a editing technique used primarily for a conversation scene or for a character looking at something in particular, A simple and effective technique I am also aware of is match on action its where the camre a would change position but still be looking In the same direction.

BELOW IS MY FINAL PRODUCT IM SHOWING YOU THIS SO YOU CAN SEE HOW IVE TAKEN MY EXPERINCE WITH THE LARGER CAMREA AND APPLIED IT TO MY OWN FILM.
