editing process 4

adding titles
Here a screen shot of me adding a titles to my footage.

At first I had my titles as an overlay on my footage but my chosen font wasn't visible enough and I really like the font so put a gap in between each piece of footage where I want a title.

My titles would now appear on top of a black background fading in and out as each one appeared.

( I DONE A SAMPLE TITLE SO YOU WAS ABLE TO SEE HOW I ACHIEVED THE LOOK )

editing process 3

finding music to fit my sequence was one of the toughest things i converted sevral differnt copy rite free sounds and music but find the right one was hard

hears how I converted the music

FIRST I FOUND MY MUSIC ON THESE SITES

ONCE  I HAD FOUND THE MUSIC I THE CONVERTED THEM INTO A MP3 FILE SO IT COULD BE IMPORTED INTO PREMIERE

I follow the same steps of importing as I did with the footage and again dragged it into the timeline and cut out any bits I didn't think fit with my opening

editing process 2

Once all my footage was in place i began tweaking things here and there.
We then had a week half term break which left me thinking if I was happy with the whole synopsis of my opening I then went back out on location and re-filmed some shots in the the woods which created enigma I didn't want to give to much a way in the opening I wanted to leave the audience guessing and answering a question what happened to the little girl in the woods?, why has she ran off?, what has she uncovered?.

I then returned back to school and took out the footage I wasn't happy with and created whole new timeline of shots

I then repeated the same process of cutting, dragging, duration/speed, saturation and various different things like that.

social networking feedback

As you can see I ask the social media 3 types of question about the thriller genre each of them responded in they own way and had there own interpretation on what they expect in a thriller, one thing that come up in an answer more than once was they want to be thrilled and for it to have a lot of suspense and I hope to have incorporated both conventions into my opening

editing process 1

I started the editing process by opening a new premiere project and calling it "the willow" once I'd done that I then went on to importing my footage into my new project

< screenshot of me importing my footage

I then begun to drag my footage down into the timeline cut and slowing down certain clips with the razor tool the reason for this is because a particular scene might need to be focused on more or might focus on a particular character or it may also be a key moment in the film which adds enigma and suspense which is what I aimed to do.

updates

I'm now coming to the end of editing my film im just adding and taking away things before its complete with music, audio and fx

the things I've been told to look at are my title font and I'ts not big enough and we loose sight when the footage is playing

there have been a lot of changes to the narrative and have scrapped the whole dog walking idea and now focused more on the wood itself

I also got some feedback from my peers in my class, they said they particularly like the flash back sequence in my film and the in and out of focus shots
